Finstral sets standards in its industry by combining innovation and design, uncompromising quality, and well-thought-out system solutions. As an international brand, the company combines craftsmanship with a spirit of innovation.

To consistently reflect this brand strength in the digital world, Finstral has introduced a digital asset management (DAM) system. This ensures that content is managed centrally, data remains consistent, and processes run much more efficiently. Every digital interaction with the brand becomes clearer, faster, and more effective, both for internal teams and external partners.

Decentralized data management slows down the brand experience.

Finstral worked with a large amount of digital content. Product images, catalogs, price lists, and technical documentation were created in different departments and maintained in different systems. This decentralized structure grew organically over the years and met many requirements. However, it made it increasingly difficult to manage content transparently across the company.

In everyday work, this meant additional effort. Files had to be specifically searched for, checked, and passed on. Collaboration with external partners often required additional coordination. At the same time, the requirements for a consistent brand presence across all channels increased. The existing system landscape could only partially reflect this increasing complexity in organizational and technical terms.

From analysis to real data management solutions

The decision to implement centralized digital asset management was clear, but choosing the right solution required a sound basis. Together with the stakeholders, we analyzed the existing system landscape, recorded requirements from various departments, and defined clear evaluation criteria. Our goal was to find a solution that was not only functionally convincing, but could also be seamlessly integrated into Finstral’s infrastructure and create real added value in everyday use.

After a structured market analysis and several technical tests, the Pixx.io platform was chosen for its API-first approach, clear usability, high flexibility, and straightforward licensing model.

The implementation was carried out step by step and in close coordination with the internal teams. Existing content was migrated, interfaces to the CMS were prepared, and the first automated workflows were set up. At the same time, a finely graded rights management system was created for different user groups – from internal teams to external partners.

The result is a central DAM system that makes content reliably available, simplifies processes, and creates the basis for consistent brand communication, both today and in the future.

What has changed with the new DAM system

Faster retrieval

All media files are accessible centrally. Teams find content faster, work with the same version, and save a noticeable amount of time every day.

Central control

Digital assets are stored in one place. Distribution can be controlled in a targeted manner—both internally and externally, without parallel storage or individual transfers.

One source for all content

Price lists, images, and documents are based on a shared database. This ensures consistency and avoids conflicting versions.

Approvals and
responsibility

Responsibilities are clearly defined. Content goes through defined processes and is only available once it has been approved.

Brand management across
system boundaries

Centralized management creates the basis for consistent communication—from print to web, from product data to visual language.

Interoperable instead of
isolated

The new system is integrated into the existing infrastructure. Media can be managed centrally, interfaces are actively used, and processes are interlinked.

A single source of truth for all digital assets

With the introduction of the new system, Finstral has created a clear structure for handling digital content. Files are now clearly versioned, clearly assigned, and can be found at any time. Especially in an environment with many products, variants, and formats, the system ensures clarity and consistency. This makes daily work easier, saves time, and creates more security in all processes.

External partners have access to relevant materials exactly when they need them. Individual coordination and handover are no longer necessary, making collaboration much smoother, both in sales and in consulting and tendering.

The positive effects are also clearly noticeable internally. Teams access a shared database. Processes are transparent, approvals are clearly regulated, and responsibilities are unambiguous. This not only makes it easier to handle content, but also makes overall brand management more consistent and effective.
